At OffSportUS, we stand behind our outdoor gear as firmly as we stand behind our adventurers. While we’re confident you’ll love your equipment, we understand that sometimes gear needs to be returned or exchanged. Our policy is designed to be as straightforward as a well-marked hiking trail.
Our Return Promise
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. All items must be in original condition – unused, unwashed, with all tags attached and in original packaging. Gear that shows signs of use or is damaged due to misuse cannot be accepted.
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Life Vest/PFD (personal flotation devices)
- Food items
- Fishing Line (once opened)
Easy Return Process
Returning your gear is as simple as packing up camp:
Step 1: Request Authorization
Email our adventure-support team at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return. Use our template below to ensure we get all necessary information.

Step 2: Receive Instructions
Within 24 hours (during business days), we’ll email you return authorization and shipping instructions. Returns without authorization cannot be processed.
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Package your item securely (we recommend using original packaging) and ship to:

Note: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
Refund Information
Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 3-5 business days after arrival):
- Refund Method: Your refund will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Processing Time: 3-10 business days depending on your financial institution
- Deductions: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. For exchanges, we’ll cover standard shipping costs for the replacement item.
Exchange Process
Want different gear instead? The process is similar to returns:
- Follow the return process above, indicating you want an exchange
- Once we receive your return, we’ll ship your new item
- You’ll receive tracking information for your replacement gear
Expedited shipping: If you need your exchange faster, contact us about upgrading your shipping (additional fees apply).
Damaged or Defective Items
If your gear arrives damaged or defective (which is as rare as a sunny day in the rainforest):
- Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage
- We’ll arrange a prepaid return label and expedite your replacement
- No need to wait for us to receive the return – we’ll ship your replacement ASAP
International Returns
For our global adventurers (excluding certain Asian and remote regions):
- Follow the same return process
- Mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs charges
- International return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- Refunds will be issued in USD and may vary slightly due to exchange rate fluctuations
